Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Courses

Click on one of the below links to jump to the level of Excel 2010 you wish to learn.
A detailed course description is given for each level along with target student recommendations.
Unlike the other applications in the Office 2010 Suite, there are two levels of PowerPoint.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Basic

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Advanced

What is PowerPoint?

PowerPoint 2010 is part of the Microsoft Office suite. You can use PowerPoint to create
presentations that can combine text, graphics, charts, clip art, and WordArt. These
presentations can then be shown to a single person or to a large audience.

PowerPoint 2010 gives you more ways to create and share dynamic presentations with
your audience than ever before. Exciting new audio and visual capabilities help you tell a
crisp, cinematic story that’s as easy to create as it is powerful to watch.

In addition, PowerPoint 2010 enables you to work simultaneously with other people or
post your presentation online and access it from virtually anywhere using the Web or even
your smartphone.

If you’re accustomed to older versions of PowerPoint, you might initially be disoriented
by the current interface. However, PowerPoint 2010 is designed to give you easy access
to every command and feature of PowerPoint, and the new features will make creating
visually appealing slide shows much easier. One such feature allows you to embed and edit
video from within PowerPoint. Now you can add fades, formatting effects, bookmark scenes,
and trim videos to give your presentations a professional multimedia experience. Because
embedded videos become part of your presentation, managing files is a whole lot easier.

MOS certification

The above courses are also designed to help students pass the Microsoft Office Specialist
(MOS) exam for PowerPoint 2010. For complete certification training, students should
complete all of the above courses.
